Words vs Action
They said they wanted donuts.
They said it was a good reward.
They said it could be a special breakfast.
They said, "These ones are our favorite and we could gobble them all up....why can we get a whole dozen of this kind?" Yet what they really meant was "we want some sugar in the form of donut icing beneath sugar in the form of sprinkles."
Words do matter, but, as you can see from the picture, actions speak much louder. First John 3:18 challenges us saying, "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
May our actions match our words, and may our words bring life and peace and hope and joy to a world in need.
