Intentional Weekly Gatherings

***As a result of the recent social distancing guidelines, these gatherings have been canceled and many are being held via chat groups, or virtually. If you are interested in connecting, please message us, or check on our Facebook page.

Prayer Meeting

Mondays @ 6 p.m.

During worship on Sundays people write down their prayer requests. That list is typed up and sent to faithful people who pray about them each week. In addition, Monday evenings Pastor Earl and a couple other people pray about those needs. Come pray with us during this time!

Adult Bible Study

Mondays @ 7-8 p.m.

Monday night is a Bible study that goes deeper into the Word of God in a pursuit to know Him better. Youth and adults welcome alike. Pastors and new believers are both a crucial part of the gathering. We are currently studying Acts.

Refreshments and coffee/tea provided.

Pastor's Sunday School Group

Sundays @ 9 a.m.

This group, usually led by Pastor Nathan, meets in the Sanctuary each Sunday. We have a wide-range of ages who join us in discussion and prayer. Traditionally our studies are based on a chosen book in the Bible. Our current studies are in the book of John.

Seeker's Class

Sundays @ 9 a.m.

This class is a small, interactive group of adults that focus on studying a particular book of the Bible. The small group and intimate setting allow for great discussion and connection between members of this class! This group is lead by Donna Baker. We are now working through the book of Romans.

Friendship Class

Sundays @ 9 a.m.

This group of about 8-10 men and women, led by Phyllis DiNinno and Diane McTighe, works through a chosen curriculum each quarter. We are working through a comprehensive Bible study this quarter called Our Love for God: Studies in Old and New Scriptures by David C. Cook. Great conversations and friendships are gained as they study God's word together!

Women's Bible Study Group

Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

Each week a group of women meet to discuss a particular topic, book study, or book in the Bible. The focus of this group is on on Godly womanhood. They are currently studying Mark.

All ladies are welcome!

Psalm 139 Group for Young Parents

Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

In Psalms 139, it says "You are fearfully and wonderfully made." We, at Berkey Church, believe in walking alongside new teenage mothers (and fathers!) It is a valuable opportunity for us to extend God's love as well as helpful parenting advice. Our current study and discussion is based on the book Hope Unfolding: Grace-filled Truth for the Momma's Heart by Becky Thompson.

We have a lovely volunteer each week who stays in the nursery with our littles during this time.

Young Adult's (Post-High) Group

Sundays @ 9 a.m. and Thursdays @ 9:30 p.m.

Our group is comprised of young adults from post-high to 20 plus. We meet on Thursday evenings where we are working through Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and have game nights at least once a month. We also meet on Sunday mornings for Bible study. We are currently working through Francis Chan's book Letters to the Church.

There is always good food and beautiful fellowship each time we gather. Contact Jason or Vikki Crissman if you are interested in meeting with us!
